The opportunity:
Our Development line of business are currently seeking an experienced Property Manager to join the Property Management team based at our Ed Park residential development at Edmondson Park 2174. Reporting to the National Property Manager, the Property Manager will assist in managing the residential portfolio.
As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:
- Manage around 50 residential properties
- Manage daily rent arrears & issue notices as required
- Coordinate & undertake routine & final inspections
- Ensure all leases & management agreements are current & valid, including negotiations with relevant parties
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests, & liaise with landlords & contractors to resolve issues
- Build & maintain effective working relationships with landlords, tenants, & other stakeholders
- Review rent for new tenancies & renewals by conducting market appraisals, & advise landlords
- Advertise properties online
- Liaise with potential tenants, conduct weekly viewings, & update the landlord throughout the entire leasing process
You may have all or some of the following skills and experience:
- A current Property - Individual Registration Certificate or Real Estate Agent Licence
- Previous experience in Residential Real Estate, preferably in Property Management
- Familiarity with building services & code compliance issues
- Demonstrated experience in managing services contractors
- Proficiency with systems such as Excel & Console Gateway is essential, & in Property Tree, IRE, or Inspection Express is desirable
- Ability to be a self-starter & work autonomously
- Excellent reporting, negotiating & communication skills
- Current Police Clearance, driver licence & own reliable car are essential
- Availability to work Saturdays from 10.00am to 3.00pm, with a weekday off in lieu
