MARS is collaborating with a prestigious Law firm located in the Sydney CBD. They're currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join the team on a permanent basis. The Accounts Payable Officer is primarily tasked with entering accounting information into the general ledger, creditor's ledger, and trust ledger.
The Responsibilities:
- Handling transactions across multiple Trust bank accounts, including receipts, interest, and trust payments.
- Processing transactions for investment accounts, such as opening term deposits, tracking transactions in the ledger, and monitoring investment maturities.
- Conducting bank account reconciliations for accuracy.
- Managing the input of invoices and disbursement payments.
- Reconciling vendor statements and addressing vendor inquiries promptly.
- Providing support to Partners and Personal Assistants regarding accounting queries.
The Requirements:
- Preferably, 2-3 years' experience in a similar position (Legal experience preferred).
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Aderant Expert (advantage).

- Flexible WFH - 1 days from home per week.
- Easily accessible via public transport.
