The Role

Currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their team in the position of Purchasing Officer/ Administration. Reporting to the General Manager and Operations Manager, the focus of this role will be to chase and obtain multiple trade quotations and ensure we are achieving the best outcome on each and every trade item.

This position will be a full-time permanent opportunity, commencing as soon as possible!

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Update and maintain subcontractor trade base
  • Manage induction of new sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Assist in preparing and coordinating monthly cost reporting meetings for supervisor projects
  • Assisting our team with obtaining trade quotations per contractor package
  • Generate and send purchase orders to subcontractors as requested by supervisors
  • Process subcontractor invoices throughout the month
  • Prepare trade scopes to be sent out to contractors
Key Selection Criteria
  • Basic understanding of the Construction industry ideal, however not essential
  • Previous Purchasing/ Admin experience ideal, however not essential
  • Ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Results driven with excellent attention to detail
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proactive and motivated personality
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
