We are seeking a Business Analysis Manager to join our Finance team on a full-time basis.

About the role

The key purpose of the Business Analysis Manager is to provide management accounting and business partnering leadership to Baldwin Living stakeholders, including Village Managers, village residents, executive team and the board, through the provision of timely, meaningful and relevant financial info. This will enable stakeholders to understand the financial implications of their decisions and how to make improvements for financial outcomes. This will include:

  • Enabling the business to set up realistic budgets (corporate, villages and operator) aligned to BL growth strategy on a timely basis, including ensuring that budgets capture the seasonality aspect of expenses and income
  • Provision of timely and relevant management reports to various stakeholders monthly - this will include review of month end accounts as prepared by compliance and financial assurance team, HomeServe accounts prepared by the HomeServe team
  • Periodic forecasting and the resulting impact on the planned budget is explained to stakeholders in a meaningful, clear and relevant way
  • Partnering with Village Managers to improve their financial literacy
  • Providing financial modelling assistance with various business cases e.g. purchase of new IT systems, village acquisition, regulation and funding impacts on model, DMF analysis and valuation impact, etc.
  • Development of scoreboard and/ or dashboards to assist quick analysis of performance
  • Provide strong support to the CFO and be an effective and cohesive leader of the finance team

About you

Successful candidates will have exceptional communication and the ability to effectively build relationships and manage internal and external customers, and work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously. Experience in working in both project and BAU environments will also be an advantage to the role.

Successful candidates will also have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Accounting and Finance
  • Chartered Accountant or CPA
  • Minimum 8 years experience in a related role
  • A strong understanding of management accounts and KPI reporting will be essential along with the ability to develop good relationships and work effectively within a team environment
  • Experience in Dynamics AX 2012, MS365 & Power Platform
  • Experience in BI – IBM Planning Analytics and/or Power BI
  • Experience in analysing CRM data
  • SQL language is desirable
  • Computer literacy in Oracle and Microsoft suite of products with high level competency in Excel
