As part of the SFDT, you will play a crucial role in streamlining the planning and development process to overcome obstacles that hinder the timely construction of new homes. Your responsibilities will include resolving development and infrastructure issues, ensuring the efficient processing of state significant proposals, and prioritising applications that involve affordable and/or social housing.At the State Facilitated Development team, we are committed to addressing housing needs and promoting social equity through our innovative approaches to social and affordable housing initiatives. As we continue to expand our efforts in this critical area, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Project Officer (Housing). you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our social and affordable housing proposals comply with relevant policies, legislation, and standards. You will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance and outcomes of these proposals, tracking progress, and assessing effectiveness in meeting predetermined objectives. Additionally, you will contribute to team objectives by identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise during the progression of social and affordable housing proposals. Your ability to communicate
and engage with various stakeholders will be essential in ensuring that these proposals are responsive to the needs and expectations of target groups and the broader community.
