ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Due to a secondment within the team, our Client; a Local Council based in Sydney, is seeking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to assist with the workload.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
An initial 6-month contract. Working alongside the Senior AP Officer, you will be working fast-paced environment. The role will require your ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, bringing on-board your strong foundation in AP. Guidance will be provided with Council's systems and processes.
DUTIES.
* Preparation of creditor payments, invoice checking & ensuring correct authorisations
* Managing superannuation
* Reconciliations
* Matching of purchase orders
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
* Relevant qualifications are desired but not mandatory
* Strong administrative skills
* Ability to read purchase orders
* Council experience is preferred but not mandatory
CULTURE.
Due to the nature of the contract, you will be expected to attend the office full-time. Your excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills will play a critical part in the success of your role.
