Purpose

The HR Administrator is responsible for being the primary contact for employee enquiries. The role will require administration of all employee related activities including recruitment, performance management, training, and other employee relations initiatives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Prepare employment contracts and draft relevant employee changes.
  • Maintain employee records and electronic files on the HR database.
  • Lodge and track visa applications and other compliance documents.
  • Prepare HR reports and statistics.
  • Update organisation charts.
  • Engage and participate in the delivery of Human Resource initiatives and projects.
  • Conduct new hire inductions.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or working towards a relevant qualification.

Experience

  • 6 months experience in a similar people assistant, human resource assistant or intern role.

Knowledge

  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment law, employee lifecycle and/or willing to learn.
  • Sound knowledge of HR policies and best practices

Personal Attributes

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and spelling, grammar proficiency.
  • High level of computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality due to the nature of the role.
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organisation skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: From $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 22.5 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bella Vista, NSW 2153: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
