Role: Accounts Receivable Officer
Duration: 2 – 3 months
Location: Sydney CBD
5 days in office
Paying: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour plus super (depending on experience)
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer with a minimum of 2 years' experience in professional services, preferably in accounting or law. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounts receivable principles, intermediate Excel skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the accounts receivable portfolio for timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Conduct monthly in-person meetings with partners to review debtors' reports and document action items.
- Communicate regularly with clients to address payment delays, resolve disputes, and negotiate payment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of all debt recovery activities, collaborating with internal teams to resolve outstanding payment issues.
- Identify and escalate potential bad debts to the management team, recommending recovery actions.
- Handle ad hoc tasks, such as client onboarding, payment processing, and coordinating client refunds.
- Continuously improve debt recovery processes for enhanced efficiency.
