WorkCover WA is responsible for regulating and administering the workers’ compensation scheme on behalf of the government and community of Western Australia. We work with employers, workers and service providers to achieve a contemporary workers’ compensation scheme that is fair, accessible and affordable. Corporate Services The Corporate Services division contributes to scheme viability and effectiveness by:
- providing business services to ensure human, financial, technological, informational and physical resources are available to support operations.
- collecting, analysing and reporting data provided by insurers and self-insurers.
- facilitating the publication of recommended premium rates.
The Opportunity The General Manager Corporate Services provides strategic leadership in the delivery of both corporate services and business intelligence services, and has responsibility for achieving outcomes in the areas of:
- Information Technology
- Finance and Administration
- Business Intelligence and Data Quality
- Human Resources
- Records Management
As a member of the WorkCover WA Corporate Executive, the General Manager Corporate Services contributes to strategic planning, the establishment and achievement of performance targets and priorities for resourcing within the organisation. This is a Senior Executive Service (SES) position available for a fixed-term period of five (5) years. Key Focus of the Position Over the Next 5 Years Over the next five years the General Manager Corporate Services will ensure the strong financial performance of the agency is maintained while building on the capability and adaptability of our people, culture and systems. The General Manager will also manage change across the agency associated with the implementation of the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023.
