We are seeking a Permanent Full-Time Clinical Nurse Manager - Emergency Department, at our Karratha Health Campus in the Pilbara.

Eligible nurses and midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 paid over 12 months - WA Country Health Service - Country Nursing and Midwifery Incentive Program About this role : We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic individual to the position of Clinical Nurse Manager Emergency Department.

Through effective nursing, the Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for standards of nursing practice and monitoring client / patient care in the Emergency Department at Karratha Health Campus.

You will also promote and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, carers, peers, visitors, medical staff and other members of the health care team.

As the Emergency Department Clinical Nurse Manager, you will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the health of the local community in a way that is immeasurably rewarding.

You will be responsible for providing advanced clinical nursing practice and governance to ensure safe and quality patient care in the region.

Specifically, you will provide nursing leadership and management by supporting the regional management team. Importantly you will develop and implement initiatives for including progression of the health reform strategy, continuous quality improvement and improving patient safety.

What we are looking for : A clinical leader with expertise in nursing, particularly in Accident & Emergency, in a multidisciplinary environment Demonstrated knowledge of quality and accreditation processes A person who can bring leadership, a collaborative approach to their work and ensure clinical governance is always uppermost as an outcome An excellent communicator, able to connect with your health service colleagues, clients, the patients and their families and carers, and the general public Having a focus on professional development, up to date knowledge of best practice guidelines and a commitment to improving nursing practice and quality standards.
