The Position
To lead and manage a range of minor open space projects within the City Landscapes Cluster and assist in developing long-term plans and strategies to meet existing and future open space needs.

Qualifications & experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or other related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain)
- Construction Induction Card
- Experience in open space construction project management including contract management, administration and supervision
- Assist the project leader, as defined in the project management framework, on a range of open space projects for the City Landscapes Cluster
- Assist in the development of the City Landscapes works program for inclusion into Council’s annual works program.
- Provide input into the design development phase of open space projects including liaising with internal resourcing, managing consultants and completing documentation for development approval processes
- Prepare project estimates for budgeting purposes and assist in budget monitoring including quarterly reviews and
forecasting. - Assist in developing of contract documents and specifications for a range of design and/or construction projects relating to open space improvements.
Hours
Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO guidelines.
