About YOUR new job:
This position will play a key role in the Finance team, supporting the Finance Manager in the preparation of all statutory reporting. This role requires a technically sound and adaptable individual, whose responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Preparing statutory accounts for various entities
- Assisting in the implementation of new accounting standards
- Liaising with and managing all internal and external audit activities
- Identifying and managing continual process improvement
- Acting as a second in charge to support the Group Controller in the development and coaching of team
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with all technical reporting requirements
- Ad-hoc duties as required
To be considered for this position you will require 3-5 years of technical accounting and financial statements preparation experience, ideally in a large organisation.
- CA or CPA qualified
- Will operate with a continuous improvement mentality.
- Has a ‘hands on’ work ethos and is comfortable working in the detail.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge around the preparation of financial reports
- Prior leadership or management experience is essential
- Circa. $120k – 125k Base Salary plus Superannuation
