WOW Recruitment are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable & Collections Officer to join an expanding software company in Sydney, CBD on a part-time basis.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable management and collections. This role will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
Role Responsibilites:
- Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, credit memos, and collections.
- Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and initiate collection efforts.
- Contact clients to discuss outstanding balances and negotiate payment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of customer payments and follow up on delinquent accounts.
- Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment issues and disputes.
- Prepare reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.
What do you bring?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable management and collections.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
