The Role
As the procurement project lead, you will be responsible for the evaluation, risk analysis and negotiations with various vendors to provide maximum business efficiency at a cost-effective rate.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out the commercial evaluation, risk analysis and lead negotiation with vendors
- Analyse past and predicted financial data to compare past spend with proposed vendor spend
- General reporting into the procurement manager on outcomes and project status updates.
- Draft and develop terms and conditions sheets with external parties.
- Design and implement financial templated that measure deliverables, charge rates and outcomes.
- Use financial modelling and analysis to develop cost saving strategies and ensure projects are within budget.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in project management are desired
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Advanced excel skills.
- Able to build relationships and communication with internal teams and external vendors
- Able to work under a deadline
- A positive and can do attitude.
