Pharmacy Support Trainee
Manning Base Hospital, Taree Are you a school-leaver looking for an on-the-job learning experience? Our Hunter New England Pharmacy Support Traineeship is a great way to gain invaluable experience in Pharmacy support and the health sector.

About the job:
  • A Traineeship will allow you to gain a recognised qualification in Certificate III in Hospital or Health Services Pharmacy Support with a recognised training organisation.
  • The traineeship will provide a range of learning opportunities that will provide you with the exploration of career opportunities and pathways in NSW Health.
  • This is perfect for someone who has left school and looking to gain a useful qualification in a health-related field.
  • This role will involves working under the supervision of a pharmacists with tasks including: receipting medications, supplying medication and maintenance of accepted stock levels in a timely manner.
  • You would be supported by the pharmacy team, with protected time to complete the Certificate III in Hospital or Health Services Pharmacy Support.

This position will see you working with a highly- skilled team of pharmacists and pharmacy support staff to ensure optimal medication safety and service efficiency. The Lower Mid North Coast Sector Pharmacy Service is based at Manning Base Hospital in Taree, providing pharmacy services within the Dispensary and ward environments.

This is a Category A position .
