Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Working with customers and internal teams to gain insight into future product requirements
• Working with cross-functional teams to develop the business case to support the building, delivery and launch of enhancements and new modules
• Document the high-level requirements for customer and our company sign off
• Identifying specific requirements to meet a customer business need including interfaces, produce a solution document to document that need and obtain customer sign off
• Either hand off the specific requirements to Product Management but act as the customer liaison for the project OR Write Stories/Specifications to provide the development/product management team and other stakeholders details of what is required to build out that new functionality
• Brief all internal/external Stakeholders on the functionality so they can test, train, implement etc
• Support development and test teams to build and test the functionality
• Be the Customer champion for the work we do and the licenses we have sold to the customer
• Ensuring the business is educated and kept up to date on the customer implementation activity
• Lean about competitor covering competitive products in your assigned areas
• Be aware of Market analysis looking for new trends and product opportunities

Requirements:

Essential Experience

• Minimum 6+ years as a Business Analyst or Implementation Consultant in a relevant business area
• Strong analytical skills to identify business needs and requirements
• Previous success in the enhancement and or implementation of business IT solutions in a relevant area
• Strong IT Skills and in-depth experience in the development process as a business analyst
• Strong writing skills and an ability to identify the keys issues and requirements and document them in a concise but easy to understand way
• Strong personality but friendly, personable style and team member
• Understands the importance of collaboration and team work
• Proven experience in using Microsoft Office tools
• Good understanding of technology and experience in using SQL

Desirable Experience

• Experience in an Agile software development environment
• Experience in Prince or other Project Management methodologies/tools
• Experience in Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods industry

Conditions:

Work with clients on their implementation plans and support each stage of Customer projects. Liaise with Product Management and Customer Support to help serve the client in the best way possible.
