We have an exciting opportunity for an Site Managerto join our Site ManagementTeam in Sydney.This role will supervise all site related aspects of assigned projects and will report to the General Manager (NSW).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Liaise with project managers to coordinate delivery and site activities Read and interpret plans Establish and maintain sites as per the company's procedures Assist with the development of the Project Management & Safety Plan (PMSP) Ensure building isolations and building systems compliance Complete regular checks to ensure site safety and quality of works completed Manage safety procedures on construction sites to ensure worker safety Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget Assist with the management of the construction programme Complete two week lookahead to forecast site activities Defect management ensuring defect free handover Estimate costs for labor and materials needed for projects RFI management ensuring client needs are resolved in a timely manner Manage and maintain applicable records within the Project Management System Record construction details such as measurements, materials, and building codes Manage subcontractors and suppliers on site Attend and take minutes for the weekly subcontractor meetings
Successful applicants must have:
Qualified in trade applicable to the Building Industry or equivalent tertiary qualifications Construction White Card or the ability to attain First Aid Certificate Level 2 or the ability to attain Certificate III in Workplace Health and Safety or the ability to attain Minimum 3 years' building industry experience in a Site Management role Demonstrated experience in developing and executing SWMS and Safety Coordination Plans Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others through effective communication Demonstrated skills in Microsoft office and similar online Project Management System Ability to plan workloads with limited supervision, set priorities and meet deadlines
