This is an exceptional opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a growing and progressive Private School in Melbourne. This role will see you leading the day to day operations of the finance function, as well as implementing new systems, automation of processes, and improved reporting of business insights. The successful candidate will present with an empowering and collaborative leadership style and the ability to motivate and develop a high performing team. You will demonstrate a proven track record in the successfully implementing business improvements, and sound financial modelling and forecasting skills. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following: A tertiary qualification + CA or CPA qualifications A proven track record of leading, coaching and developing teams to deliver strategic outcomes. High emotional intelligence, adaptable and flexible approach Strong data analysis and financial modelling skills A credible expert in finance, corporate governance, financial audit reporting and compliance standards Experience reviewing IT systems and successfully implementing change Sound budgeting, financial and management accounting skills Success in communicating ideas, strategies, and concepts with clarity and persuasion Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Proactive, positive attitude with the ability to operate under pressure and balance conflicting priorities. The ability to effectively foster and develop strong stakeholder relationships externally and internally Advanced excel and finance systems skills (Synergetic would be an advantage) This role is located in the Eastern suburbs and has a competitive salary on offer- plus the option of 50% reduction in private school fees.
