Description
The role may vary based on your previous experience. Some of the duties may include -
- Delivery of accurate and timely month end financial reports in compliance with the Australian accounting standards and principles, including profit and loss and balance sheets
- Ensure billing is performed and reviewed prior to lodgement with relevant funding providers
- Preparation and development of budget and financial forecasts.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to manage and safeguard organisational assets by reduction of financial risks
- Complete year end Payment Summaries staff
- Work proactively to minimise rejected payment claims through established processes
- Maintain and use internal software systems including MYOB and CRM
- Assist with leasing and financial operation requirements for new projects
- Responsible for compliance and reporting, external contracts, grant acquittals, ACNC, ATO, NDIS, CHSP, HACC, TAC, Workcover.
Profile
- Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, statutory and regulatory obligations of Not-for-Profit organisations
- Strong time management and problem solving/analytical skills, especially utilising your NDIS knowledge to deal proactively with billing and funding issues.
