Your tasks
Are you a seasoned Project Coordinator with expertise in Freight Forwarding, particularly in managing Projects Cargo and Large Out of Gauge Freight?
We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our projects team in High Wycombe. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient, cost-effective movement of cargo, with a focus on outstanding customer service.
Your Role will involve:
- Preparing competitive quotes for Air/Sea, Out of Gauge, and Domestic Road/Air shipments
- Handling day-to-day operations of project shipments
- Collaborating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Coordinating and assisting with onsite handling, ensuring project compliance, and efficient administration and reporting
- Negotiating rates with carriers and suppliers to optimise costs
- Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolving any issues that arise
About You:
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator in the Freight Forwarding industry
- Strong background in handling Projects Cargo, including Large Out of Gauge Freight
- In-depth knowledge of Air/Sea/Road operations and industry regulations
- Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and transportation management software
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain attention to detail
