Manager Enterprise Change

St John Ambulance WA
Belmont Full-day Full-time

Description:

Do you want to work for an iconic Western Australian organisation committed to changing lives and making a difference to your community?
St John WA is a not-for-profit organisation that is most known for providing WA’s ambulance service, but we also deliver a range of healthcare services to support healthy and resilient communities. For example:
We maintain a state-wide network of defibrillators and Community First Responders
We teach life-saving first aid skills to more than 400,000 people each year
Our Urgent Care centres provide an alternate pathway for minor injuries and illnesses, rather than congesting hospital emergency departments.
A Job to be proud of:
The newly established Business Intelligence, Planning and Improvement department aims to improve delivery, coordination and alignment of services across the organisation. We provide a ‘one stop shop’ for enterprise-wide analysis, reporting, improvement and decision support, as well as program planning, delivery, change and governance through a collaborative and localised partnership model.
We are now looking for a strong leader to manage and evolve the Enterprise Change team within the department. You’ll be responsible for establishing a new focus for the existing Change Management team, including introducing frameworks, tools, methodology and recruiting for new team members.
You’ll be part of a highly skilled, committed and collaborative management team that together provide crucial and highly valued services to the rest of the organisation.
This is an exciting time to be part of building the future of the department, and contribute your hard-earned experience and expertise back to the WA community.
What you’ll do:
Managing and guiding day to day work of a team of Change Managers, including mentoring and coaching along professional development goals.
Work closely and collaboratively with the other managers in the department to establish, improve and implement processes, tools and frameworks for successful delivery and management.
Management, leadership and delivery of enterprise change management services and solutions across the organisation, bringing significant expertise in methodologies and practical implementation for improving business outcomes and service delivery.
Initiate and drive collaboration with key stakeholders at all levels enterprise-wide to understand enterprise change activities and projects. Develop change strategy and plans to achieve desired outcomes.
Keep an overview of all major Enterprise-wide change initiatives to ensure organisational impact and dependencies are understood and managed well.
Work with initiative and project owners to implement the change strategies to ensure successful implementation and adoption of the enterprise changes.
Working across all of St John WA’s departments, liaising and providing collaborative consultancy to key stakeholders at all levels.
Providing subject matter expertise and strategic advice on best practice enterprise change, improving organisation wide capability and maturity.
Representing the department on organisation-wide working groups and forums, presenting and owning deliverables on behalf of the department.
What you’ll need:
Have a strong background in Change Management at an enterprise level including current frameworks and methodologies, with experience managing organisation-wide transformation programs.
Significant demonstrated change leadership, management and delivery, including proven ability to establish, lead and manage a small team.
Ability to adapt and implement change management frameworks, templates and processes.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills, including proven ability to analyse and understand complex information, business processes and concepts and make decisions based on sound judgments and available relevant research.
Proven experience establishing productive and strong working relationships with excellent stakeholder management skills.
The required qualifications:
Professional qualifications in Change Management (e.g. PROSCI accreditation) or other relevant qualification, such as Strategic Human Resources, Communication, Organisational Psychology or similar, or substantial equivalent relevant experience.
What’s in it for you?
The successful candidate will be offered an interactive and supportive working environment within a positive and professional team along with:
Competitive remuneration package
Rewarding and diverse work giving back to your community
