A contract role for an Oracle Database Administrator located in the CBD of Adelaide.Your new company
You’ll join a reputable global SA government organisation located in the Adelaide CBD and have a 3-month contract opportunity (extension possibilities available) for an experienced Database Administrator with Oracle systems experience to join a collaborative team of IT professionals.
Your new role
You will join as a Database Administrator for this exciting programme. In a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere, they’ll provide you with an exciting and unique opportunity to work with other professionals in this new project where they are currently doing a large-scale migration upgrade.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential:
- Oracle DBA with proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in technical Database Support for Upgrade/Migration/Administration Work
- Experience using Oracle Forms and Reports.
- Strong skills and proven ability with SQL and PL/SQL used across Oracle relational databases.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, analyse and troubleshoot technical issues and complex problems.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Effective and clear communicator.
- Experience with Application Express.
- Experience working on Oracle Forms/Reports upgrade and migration projects.
