Hays Construction has partnered with a national market leading construction company with a strong pipeline of work focusing on the industrial and commercial sectors.
Your new role
As a Site Engineer/ Project coordinator, you will be reporting to and working closely with the Site manager and Project manager to help deliver medium to large industrial and commercial projects in the Brisbane area.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:- Responsible for coordinating projects from commencement to completion through efficient planning, procedures and communication.
- Daily liaising with Site Supervisors, customers and builders.
- Coordinate trades and liaise with subcontractors.
- Reading and reviewing plans.
- Raise RFIs and assist with completing reports.
- Assist with the procurement process and issues.
- Attend project meetings.
- Travel between site and office.
- Manage site/ safety inspections.
What you'll need to succeed
- Tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying or trade qualified with previous construction experience.
- Previous commercial and industrial experience is desirable.
- Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at varying levels internally and externally.
