Seeking an Environmental Manager who will spearhead the environmental initiatives, leading a dynamic team across a broad spectrum of projects.
RM Group are recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognised conglomerate with a remarkable footprint spanning across Australia and overseas. They are on an exciting trajectory of growth and expansion due to current and upcoming projects. This position will require the successful candidate to travel between project sites across NSW to ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively.The successful candidate will be an exceptional Environmental Manager who will spearhead the environmental initiatives, leading a dynamic team across a broad spectrum of projects that include Environmental Investigations, Site Inspections, Remediation, Groundwater Investigations, HAZMATs, Modelling, Problem Solving, and Project Management. With a portfolio of over 20,000 projects worldwide and expansion, this next career step is where your expertise will drive real change.
Paying a salary of up to $200k + super, depending on experience with bonus incentives and benefits package, including company car, mobile phone and laptop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a wide range of environmental projects from start to completion.
- Conduct comprehensive environmental investigations, site inspections, remediation, and groundwater investigations.
- Oversee HAZMAT assessments, modelling, problem-solving activities, ensure effective project and group management.
- Plan, resource, and control projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Foster strong, enduring relationships with clients, ensuring high-quality service and timely delivery.
- Develop new client relationships through existing contacts, referrals, or opportunities.
- Drive cross-selling opportunities within the geotechnical engineering, environmental, and laboratory groups.
- Maintain positive engagement with the Board, clients, regulatory bodies, government, academia, media, and other stakeholders.
- A relevant degree in environment or a related field.
- Certification as a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP).
- Extensive experience in an environmental consulting role.
- Australian citizenship and a current driver's license.
- Exceptional planning, coordination, and project management skills.
- Proficient in project design, sampling, conducting, and managing fieldwork.
- Excellent software, communication, and report writing skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and environmental best practices (EPA, Australian Standards).
- LAA or AIOH certified hygienist (highly desirable).
