Seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Manager to join our client's Executive Team
RM Group are recruiting on behalf a nationally recognised conglomerate with a remarkable footprint spanning across Australia and overseas. They are on an exciting trajectory of growth and expansion due to current and upcoming projects. This position will require the successful candidate to travel between project sites across NSW to ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively.The successful candidate will be an exceptional Geotechnical Engineering Manager to join our client’s Executive Team. Paying a salary of up to $200k + super, depending on experience with bonus incentives and benefits package, including company car, mobile phone and laptop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Project Management: Lead a dynamic team of Engineers and Geotechnicians, overseeing a diverse range of projects including Geotechnical Investigations, Pavement Design, and Slope Stability. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
- Client Relations & Business Development: Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients through exceptional service and communication. You'll also be responsible for expanding their client base through networking and leveraging existing contacts.
- Technical Expertise: Apply your extensive knowledge in Geotechnical, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Geology to design and execute projects.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for project resources, ensuring safety and efficiency. You'll monitor project progress, identifying potential issues and devising effective solutions.
- Relevant degree in environmental engineering or a related field.
- Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) certification.
- Extensive experience in environmental consulting.
- Hands-on experience with DCPs, SPTs, CPTs, and logging.
- Proven track record of managing and executing environmental projects.
- Experience in project and group management.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in environmental modelling software.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and environmental best practices (EPA, Australian Standards).
- LAA or AIOH certified hygienist (highly desirable).
