Our Sydney office has an exciting opportunity for a proactive, initiative-driven Practice Assistant to join their Competition team.

About the role
We are seeking a skilled Practice Assistant to join the Competition team and to support partners, Luke Woodward, Wayne Leach and Christopher Kok, as well as the wider competition team.
The position is full-time and will work closely with and support the existing part time Practice Assistant. You will also work closely with other Practice Assistants in our National Competition Team.
This role offers the chance take initiative and anticipate the needs of the team, leveraging your exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail to stay one step ahead. Daily tasks will vary but will involve legal document management, client relations, financial administration, file management, diary management, travel coordination, and general administrative support.
What experience are we looking for?
Minimum of 1 year in a legal support role (such as Legal Assistant, Practice Assistant, Legal Executive or Legal Secretary)
Sound knowledge of the monthly billing process in a legal environment - experience with Elite highly regarded
Typing speed of 70+ wpm
Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to analyse, problem solve and apply appropriate use of judgement
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, choosing an appropriate style for their audience
Well-developed interpersonal skills
