This well-regarded investment house supports the ongoing growth and regeneration of Perth by helping clients work through the complexities of their real estate strategies, projects, and transactions. Due to growth in the business, there is an opportunity to grow the team with an Associate level opportunity.This role leads work including real estate strategy across single assets and portfolios and supporting investment decisions. Key areas of responsibility for this role cover Financial Analysis, Asset Management Responsibilities and Investment Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Feasibility & Investment Case: Prepare, maintain, and review feasibility models and business cases to support development feasibility and delivery outcomes.
- Portfolio Management: Work closely with development teams on live projects, being the champion of financial aspects including lease negotiation, cost and budget review and performance reporting. Preparation of investor materials such as investment committee papers, deal summaries and portfolio returns analysis.
- Project Finance: Work with senior staff on end-to-end equity and debt financing processes, including debt capacity modelling.
- Research: Conduct in depth research on assets / market, benchmarking and databasing.
- Stakeholder Relationships: foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholder groups such as consultants, investors and banks.
Due to the wide array of work, we are seeking candidates with experience and/or skills in one, or several, of the below areas:
- Real estate specific: Strategic real estate advisory: strong prior experience in development and provision of strategic property advice across core property markets or other asset classes such as education, health etc.
- Corporate finance experience with a genuine interest in property.
- Procurement, transaction management and project delivery: experience in planning, delivery and execution of major projects or procurement processes on behalf of the private sector or government.
- Commercial acumen: demonstrated experience advising on commercial principles and structures to support transaction outcomes.
- Related tertiary qualifications such as Commerce, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Legal or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in financial analysis.
- Team player, you should be an adept communicator with fantastic negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Entrepreneurial strategic thinker, collaborate and embrace change.
- Tech savvy with the ability to grasp systems and programs with ease.
- Ability to build rapport, manage relationships and negotiate.
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.

- Confident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
