Your new company

I am looking for an Accounts Payable officer to join a large public sector organisation for a temporary 3-month role with a chance for extension.

Your new role

The accounts payable officer will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions within the organisation.
You will be responsible for the following

• Processing Payments - Handle payments and financial transactions with suppliers, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services.
• Collaborate with finance officers and suppliers to manage stock, financial records, and accounts.
• Verify expense reports and address invoice queries from internal and external business finance officers.
• Reconciliation - reconcile invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
• Work closely with the wider Accounts Payable team, comparing system reports to enhance AP processes.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, you will have:

• Experience in an Accounts/Accounts Payable role
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Qualification in Finance or Accounting related field
