About the Role: Reporting to the Team Leader Procurement and Systems, this role is joining a small team to support the business with low/medium risk procurement activities through to complex procurement and sourcing processes from inception to completion, and working with internal and external stakeholders to identify, develop, deliver, and continuously improve procurement strategies by applying best practice principles to ensure value for money and compliance to probity requirements. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Providing professional input and actively promoting Procurement Strategies and strategic sourcing processes (including market analysis, tendering and evaluation).Administer all facets of tender processes (for goods, works, services) in accordance with Procurement Strategies and Policies.Provide Procurement and Commercial support (including training and awareness) to contract superintendents / superintendent’s representatives in the application of the Contract Management Framework, including periodical performance reviews, audits, variations, disputes resolution, close out reports, and contract management tasks.Provide training and support to staff on purchase orders, and purchase cards (including policy, procedures, templates, Intranet tools, and system).Development of contractual facilities for ongoing purchases under standing order arrangements, panels and direct supplier contracts. Support the business in accessing and using these arrangements.Support the maintenance of relevant databases including accurate processing of data input and systematic filing of related documents.Assist in the maintenance of files whether electronic and/or hardcopy to ensure full audit compliance.Prepare and present performance and compliance reporting to the Team Leader Procurement and Systems as requested.Assist the Team Leader Procurement & Systems with other duties and projects as required.About You:5 Years experience in a similar role (Desirable)Have completed, or are working towards completion of a Diploma in Procurement and Supply or related field (Desirable)The ability to undertake the Acquisition process and partner with internal stakeholders to undertake Complex sourcing activities.Sound knowledge of probity, risk management and relevant legislation relating to contract conditions.An understanding of procurement activities and the industry, specifically in the ability to obtain value for money.A comprehensive knowledge of the tendering, evaluation and contract management process specifically to achieve probity compliance.
