Description:
Randstad are currently recruiting Medium & Heavy Rigid drivers for work in Launceston and the greater area. The duties include but are not limited to:- Operating medium / heavy rigid trucks
- Taking receipt and delivering cargo
- Completing all required documentation including log books and time-sheets
- Manual handling duties where required
- Undertaking basic truck inspections
What you need
Recent truck driving experience such as MR driver, HR Truck Driver or Delivery Driver and a clean driving record. A minimum of 12 months operating experience in your license class. You will need to be safety focused, with a high level of physical fitness and willingness to perform manual labour when required.
- Current Heavy Vehicle licence (HR or MR)
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential
- Load restraint and gating/strapping experience
- An aptitude for mechanics.
As part of the recruitment process you will be required to undertake the following:
- Urine based drug and alcohol screen
- Pre Employment Assessment
- Police Check
