An opportunity is now available for a highly motivated & knowledgeable Heavy Haulage Coordinator to join our Operations team on a full-time basis.

This is a fast-paced role that requires complex problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and strict deadlines. Prior industry experience will be highly regarded.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Coordinate and administer daily haulage plans, ensuring timely deliveries
  • Proactively manage driver fatigue to ensure safety
  • Administer transportation documentation with clear & concise driver communication
  • Execute and review internal and external Heavy Haulage invoicing
  • Efficiently utalise in-house software to raise purchase orders and new job orders
  • Ensure subcontractors are compliant with Gradco requirements
  • Assume a lead role in the promotion and compliance of our HSE policies and systems & transportation regulations

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience within a transport/logistics planning environment (desirable)
  • Solid communication skills that enable effective communication between truck drivers, contractors, internal staff and clients
  • Proficiency in the operations of Microsoft office with an interest in learning new systems
  • A strategic thinker who can adapt swiftly to changing circumstances
  • Thrives under pressure and excels in meeting tight deadlines
  • Ability and willingness to complete both simple and complex tasks
