Description:
This is a hands on Commercial Accountant role that will continue to grow & progress with the growth of the business.
Your duties will be broad, with key deliverables including:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, analysing variances vs budget and supporting decision making alongside Management
- Analyse and report on product standard costing models to accurately calculate the cost of goods sold and make improvements wherever possible
- Preparing the budgets & forecasts
- General ledger reconciliations
- Evaluating and supporting decision making on new products, marketing initiatives, inventory levels, cost accounting/management/control
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
- A CA/CPA or equivalent level of experience or qualification
- Experience working in a Management Accounting capacity within FMCG/Manufacturing/Retail
- Exposure to standard costing, margin reporting
- Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders, predominantly Sales/Marketing
