Our team live and breathe our Core Values of Efficiency, Accountability and Integrity. We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our Operations and Maintenance team reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent.
The Maintenance Team aims to deliver Operation and Maintenance Excellence through best practice, and robust processes and systems of work.
This role is a residential position in Darwin working a 5 : 2 : 4 : 3 day roster. Primero has relocation options available for suitable candidates. Role Responsibilities :
- Preparation, planning, and implementation of maintenance schedules and strategies.
- Providing communication channels, interface and coordination between maintenance team and stakeholders.
- Manage proposed modifications to scope, schedule or budget and influence to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Identify changes in scope of work, ensure planning measures are undertaken with internal and external processes / clients to reassess, renegotiate, and amend scope of work responsibilities.
- Provide support to the Maintenance and Supply Departments to ensure procurement is executed, streamlined, and delays minimised.
- Develop and issue fortnightly plans in consultation with maintenance supervisors and other stakeholders.
- Develop, implement, execute, and manage timely shutdown plans for the Processing Plant.
- Development and implementation of appropriate action plans to respond to current and emerging issues.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure statutory safety and environmental requirements relevant to plant maintenance are met.
- Contribute to management of asset and parts structure.
- Provide input on holdings and management of spare parts.
- Chair Weekly Schedule Review, Backlog Review, and Shutdown Meetings.
- Work with other Maintenance Planners as required to divide responsibilities for optimal business outcomes. Education and Experience :
- Trade Certificate, Project Management, or Engineering qualification
- Experience with production and maintenance activities on a mineral processing plant or similar
- Experience in Maintenance Planning and Shutdown facilitation
- MS Office (Project, Excel, Word) Intermediate to Advanced
- Experience with Asset Development and Planning within Pronto
- Proven experience engaging with stakeholders.
- Significant experience in planning, scheduling and budgeting activities to establish maintenance development plans with strong analytical skills What We Offer :
