The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in our Townsville team as a Warehouse Team Member . BlueScope Distribution is a provider of single-source product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

As a team member, you will support our warehouse operations in ensuring our products and solutions are delivered in a safe and timely manner for our customers. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities.

This role will work Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm, with the view to move to afternoon shift 2pm-10pm. You will have access to various health and wellbeing initiatives including Employment Assistance Program, Employee Real Deals and on-going learning, support and training. You will receive a competitive salary package and participation in our company incentive program (bonus).

What Will You Do?

Successfully contribute to a safe working environment, this role will see you:

• safely loading and unloading our products from trucks
• operate forklifts, gantry cranes and processing machinery
• accurately pick and pack orders
