About the role:
The primary objective of the role is to lead mobile development across a Digital development team, including contributing to technical strategy and mentoring developers. This position will be a blend of technical capabilities and people leadership. The success of this role would be determined by your ability to apply your in-depth software experience whilst guiding and mentoring a developing team.
In this role, you’ll be:
Building and managing the Mobile direct to customer channel for Alinta.
Ensuring adherence to the architecture of the Digital platform
Championing the adoption of emerging technologies and maintain technical responsibility for software development projects
Building effective and trusted relationships with various stakeholders in the business. Active listening, applying flexibility where needed and ensuring proactive / reactive communication will be paramount
providing leadership and support to build a highly engaged and high-performing team.
Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:
Proven experience in Mobile Development with solid experience in software development, focusing on mobile applications
Proficient in developing cross-platform mobile apps using React Native
Back End Development Skills coupled with knowledge of relevant technologies
Experience in a leadership role, guiding and mentoring development teams
Ability to work in an Agile delivery team
