Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join the high performing sales team. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by nurturing leads, identify business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and qualify new sales leads through outbound calls, emails, and other channels.
- Manage and grow client base for Mobility and IT solutions.
- Identify and cultivate new client relationships.
- Prepare quotes and proposals, managing the sales pipeline effectively.
- Arrange meetings with potential clients, Telstra Account Managers, and other internal teams.
- Drive revenue growth, ensure exceptional customer experience, and surpass target expectations.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities and customer needs.
- Develop customised solutions to meet client requirements.
- Foster and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Account Management or Business Development, or similar roles.
- Demonstrated ability in high-level negotiations, quoting, and solution design.
- Track record of successfully converting sales leads and selling IT solutions, including MDM, Managed Services, Microsoft, Network infrastructure, and Security.
- Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in customer support.
- Strong time management and planning abilities.
- Previous experience in the telecommunications industry is essential.
- Familiarity with Telstra business products and processes is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
