Your Main Duties
As an Emergency Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing emergency care. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting thorough initial assessments, collecting vital signs, and obtaining a detailed medical history.
- Performing various medical procedures and interventions as required, such as wound care, administering medications, starting intravenous lines, and providing respiratory support.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation.
- The provision of patient education regarding their condition, treatment, and medications.
- Implementing your adaptability and decision-making skills in high pressure situations.
- Current AHPRA registration, with no restrictions
- A minimum of 6 months ED experience with triage competency
- Working with Children's Check, or willingness to obtain
- National Crime Check, or willingness to obtain
