Reporting to the APAC Commercial Finance Director, along with a dotted line to the APAC Accounting Manager, the APAC Commercial Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting the APAC Commercial Finance Director in providing key financial and business support/oversight to the APAC Products & Services business. This individual is expected to drive business improvement, implement/maintain system of internal controls and assist in managing the financial planning and analysis for the Products & Services business in the region. This is a key Finance position that will provide business partnership to APAC commercial stakeholders in the region to achieve financial and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong business partner at all levels of the APAC Products & Services business and operations.
  • Assist in driving overall P&L and Cash optimization for the region, via data analysis and recommendations.
  • Accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Enerpac APAC’s financial results.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to help drive business results.
  • Coordinate and prepare forecasts, budgets and financial outlooks for the business area.
  • Coordinate with operations team to understand and report the commercial impact of operational items including (but not limiting) plant operational efficiencies, price variances and inter-company allocations and mark-ups.
  • Support commercial teams on quote development, pricing, and commission plans.
  • Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including cost and profitability improvement initiatives working cross-functionally with other functional leaders within the business.
  • Develop, support and evaluate business cases for capital expenditures.
  • Analyze proposed product development projects, sales growth opportunities and other key initiatives, including determination of return on investment and payback; prepare summary commentary, including recommendations, as appropriate.
  • Assist with regional statutory audit activities while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support APAC region monthly and quarterly internal reporting.
  • Support U.S. global external audit activities.
  • Assist with internal control implementation, evaluation, and documentation as needed.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, effectively managing competing priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced, challenging, and flexible hybrid work environment.
  • Strongly proficient using electronic spreadsheet, database, word-processing, and graphical presentation software, preferably Microsoft Office applications and specifically Power BI. Oracle and Hyperion (HFM) knowledge is strongly preferred.

Education and Experience:

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business with specialization in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • MBA and/or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or equivalent is a plus.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in a corporate setting; record of performance in working in financial and/or operational business areas.
  • Experience in budget/forecast preparation plus monthly review/variance analytics.
  • Experience in management of inter-company accounts, foreign currency transactions/translation, preparation of financial statements and analysis.
  • Record of performance in working in both financial and operational business areas.
  • Project management, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are required.
