About the Company
A leading Australian manufacturer with over 35 years of experience in joinery, fitout, and construction across retail, commercial, and hospitality sectors is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager.
About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will join a strong Sales and Estimating Team and play a key role in driving new business within the retail shopfitting sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement successful business development strategies to secure new clients.
- Manage existing client relationships and build strong partnerships.
- Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure profitable project acquisition.
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Sales and Estimating Team.
Your Qualifications
- Proven sales experience within the retail sector, ideally with established brands in major shopping centers.
- Demonstrated understanding of the retail shopfitting industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in written, oral, and email communication.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A positive and proactive approach to client interaction.
- Established network of contacts within the retail sector a plus.
