Description:
Good firm, good project, good culture. Great opportunity for experience arch or tech wanting to do good work and continue to grow.
Company & Role InsightsThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Architect, Designer or Technician looking to work on leading large-scale projects throughout Vicotria and have the ability to take a leading role in the delivery stages of the project.
You will have the ability to work on both community and commercial lead projects and work on all phases, especially the later delivery and construction phases including onsite design management.
This is the best opportunity for a Senior Project Architect / Designer to do what they love and shine, or for an established Project Architect or Designer or technician with great DD onwards experience on larger scale projects to continue to build their career and experience by getting more onsite exposure and setup to a senior level. We are looking for someone with strong Revit skills, a good problem solver, loves detail design and has a pragmatic focus on ensuring that good outcomes are achieved whilst the design intent is maintained.
This is a great role in a great national practice with a lovely local studio doing a diverse range of projects including across both community / social focused sectors and commercial focused sectors. They have several large scale projects onsite and many other exciting projects in the pipeline allowing continued growth and development.
The Melbourne studio is a lovely environment with genuine and supportive leaders who want to see people thrive. With the convenience of the studio being centrally located in the CBD getting to work is a breeze.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play an active role in the delivery and management of projects throughout all stages, especially from design development onwards.
- Manage the day to day operations of projects and work with builders onsite

- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, builders, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, builders and other external stakeholders
- Contributing to the ongoing development and mentoring of other staff members
We are more interested in your experience than your qualifications, which means you may be a qualified architect or may have come through the technical pathway and have solid experience in managing larger-scale projects from DD onwards. In the next 12 months, you will have the ability to go on-site to assist in the construction phases of some projects, so experience and interest in this is necessary.
Experience in health or other highly technical projects will be an advantage..
Ideally you will have;
- Min 5 year experience in an architectural experience
- Experience working on large scale projects (20+mill)
- Ability to use Revit and producing documentation
- Strong communication skill with proven consultant coordination and builder management
