The Role
As Fund Accounting and Tax Director, your role will be to support the CFO and COO in managing the Fund Accounting and Tax function to meet obligations of the organisation and it's clients, alongside a project and process improvement focus. You will be responsible for planning for the future and improving the function working closely with in-house business transformation team. Your role will also be responsible for other broad range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for fund accounting and tax matters across the entire group.
- Liaise with external tax advisors and accounting firms as needed to address these concerns.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial statements for all in-house funds and oversee the external audits when necessary.
- Manage the regular calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV) and unit pricing for all in-house funds.
- Take charge of tax compliance for all funds, including the timely preparation, review, and submission of BASs, Tax Returns, AIIRs, etc., to relevant authorities.
- Ensure accurate and timely production of annual tax statements for all fund investors.
- Aid in the development of technological solutions to facilitate fund accounting and tax obligations, potentially leveraging our proprietary technology platform.
- Focus on continuously enhancing processes and internal controls throughout your responsibilities.
- Engage in or lead various projects and additional duties as assigned.

Your Profile
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate relevant experience working in a Fund Accounting and Tax role within the Funds Management/ Fund Administration industry and will ideally be equipped with the following:
· Relevant tertiary qualifications (Accounting, Business, Finance)
· Minimum 7+ years of fund accounting and tax experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
