The Western Australia Police Force seeks a highly motivated individual to lead a multi-disciplinary team as Director Asset Management, Class 1, on a fixed-term contract of up to 5 years within the Senior Executive Service.

As an inclusive and strategic-thinking leader, you will actively contribute to supporting frontline police officers to keep our community safe. You will directly see the benefits of your innovative service delivery supporting police facilities across the state.

You will ensure the high-quality management of assets and facilities for personnel who operate in some of the most inspiring, challenging and unique landscapes in the world.

THE ROLE

The Director Asset Management is an integral part of the WA Police Force's leadership team. You will provide strategic leadership to the Asset Management Directorate on best practice asset management. You will lead a team that manages police facilities across the State, as well as oversee a vehicle and equipment fleet that includes operational police weaponry, air and marine assets and specialist support provided by our horses and dogs.

You will be responsible for the strategic oversight and direction of Strategic Asset Plans; development of business cases; delivery of capital infrastructure projects; fit outs and refurbishments; building leases as well as all other asset and equipment requirements inclusive of scheduled replacement programs.
