About the Role
Applied Training Assistants (ATAs) assist with preparing various training activities conducted at the Western Australian Fire & Emergency Services (WAFES) Academy. This training is essential in ensuring our responders are well prepared for any incident they may face.
To help keep training scenarios realistic and relevant, ATA's are involved in the construction, inspection, and ongoing maintenance of training prop.
ATAs also assist with procuring, preparing, and maintaining supplies and equipment to support training, including responsibility for the WAFES Academy store and the Academy's fleet of appliances, plus, contribute to the safety of the applied training environments.
