The role
As Plumbing Inspector, you will be part of a team delivering a holistic compliance program related to plumbing services in Western Australia.
You will undertake inspections of residential, commercial and industrial plumbing installations for compliance.
You will also present evidence and information at disciplinary hearings of court proceedings in accordance with relevant legislation.
Your ability to undertake audits of Licensed Plumbing Contractors will be key to this role.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department for the next 12 months, from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.
