We know that our success is the result of more than 4,000 talented people working together to achieve amazing outcomes.Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor , the Boilermaker Leading Hand will be responsible for assisting in overseeing a team whilst completing quotes for both internal and external jobs, boilermaker and welding work across new machines and machine rebuilds. Outside of set daily tasks, there is an element of running various shifts whilst the Supervisor is unavailable and attending/driving customer meetings. You will also be assisting the Supervisor in task planning and delegating various tasks to other team members.
Location: Guildford
Roster: Monday to Friday - 10.5 Hour days (including meal break), 6am-4:30pm
To be successful the following is required:
- Australian Recognised Boilermaker Welder Trade Certification
- Experience quoting various jobs
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Smart Sheets
- Experience utilising CAT SIS, ET and DBS
- Positive can-do attitude whilst contributing to a safe and positive environment
- Ability to interpret drawings
