Seeking an Storeperson.
Storeperson (Technical)This position will assist in the procurement of goods and materials to ensure effective, consistent and cost-efficient delivery of store-related services and outcomes for the Asset Maintenance department.
This position is from Monday to Friday start time and end time at 06:30 am until 03:30 pm and is located in Petrie, Queensland.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
- Assist with all system-related procurement functions relating to stores and workshops including raising purchase orders, managing purchase order amendments, receipt of goods and processing invoices.
- Act the first point for all customer requests for goods and materials and issue requisitioned goods within identified timeframes.
- Check receipts and place into stock within prescribed time limits or advise intended recipients of expected deliveries.
- Assist in undertaking perpetual stock take of store inventory and reports on anomalies, as required.
- Maintain security over store's assets (Stock and Fixtures/Fittings and Equipement).
- Ensure compliance with all legislation, approved standards, policies and procedures relating to the department's practices and processes including the maintenance and issue of Safety Data Sheets where required.
- Working knowledge of stores and inventory practices and procedures.
- Working knowledge in the use and application of IT business solutions to support efficient and effective electronic business processes.
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking manual tasks in a safe conscious manner.
- Well-developed time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
- Well-developed people and relationship management skills with the ability to work in a positive team environment communicating and engaging effectively at all levels.
- Current C class driver's licence.
- Current High Risk Work (HRW) licence - Forklift Truck
- Certification in the operation of Front End Loader - Margate Depot Only
