The OO5 Rangers in Princess Hills and Undara require a moderate level of physical fitness while they carry out their day to day duties in varying climatic conditions. Living on base with your colleagues, you become part of a tight knit community working closely with Traditional Owners to assist in jointly managing parks and protected area estate.
You will develop a deep understanding of the natural environment and a new appreciation of the land while growing your cultural knowledge.
They communicate well when speaking or writing with a diverse range of people including tourists and other stakeholders.
You might be completing maintenance on infrastructure one day and fighting a bush fire the next.
The work is challenging but most important work is, and the rewards are incredible.
