About the Company
u&u Recruitment Partners has been exclusively engaged by a well-known international business with Head Office operations in Brisbane in their search for a Finance Manager.
The Role
Reporting directly into the Chief Financial Officer you will responsible for a broad range of accounting and finance duties including leading the accounting team, your role will involve:
- Managing the month end process to ensure compliance with deadlines;
- Ensuring compliance of statutory accounts with all relevant accounting standards;
- Maintaining open communication and ensuring active collaboration amongst cross-divisional stakeholders;
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial activities of the company;
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts;
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and financial risk;
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the CFO and senior management; and
- Collaborate with other departments to support strategic decision-making.
The Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA or CA certification preferred
- Proven experience in financial management or a related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
