We have an exciting opportunity for a Bridgeworker Team Leader to join our Regional Assets Team located at our Redlynch depot.

About the role:
Reporting to the Structures Maintenance Supervisor, in this role you will supervise a small team in the day to day operations of maintenance on our structures, bridges and culverts and ensure they are fully resourced for each job. This includes assisting in the planning process and ensuring safe, cost effective, timely and high-quality service is met.
In this role you will:
- Ensure work is carried out to the standard expected
- Supervise day to day operations ensuring work is carried out in a safe and effective manner
- Liaise with the Supervisor on how works are progressing and problem solve issues.
- Ensure regular servicing, minor and preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment is performed to the technical level of competence to ensure maximum equipment availability
- Assist tradespeople in allocating mechanical maintenance support of machines as requested
- Undertake administrative and recording duties

About you:
- Substantial knowledge of bridge and structures construction and maintenance standards, systems, processes and associated costs.
- Substantial leadership, communication, people management, industrial relations and negotiation skills.
- Sound level of skills in use of Queensland Rail and Network computer applications including SAP R3, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS).
- Knowledge of and willingness to commit to and work within Queensland Rail's Values and Behaviours.
