Specialising in underground mining materials, our client is actively seeking qualified Mechanical Fitters to become integral members of their expanding workforce based in the Southern Highlands. Immediate opportunities are now open for those ready to kickstart their journey.
Responsibilities:
- Working on underground mining gear: continuous miners, long wall etc.
- Building specialized in house machinery
- Equipment Installation and maintenance
- Repairs and troubleshooting
- Reading and interpreting diagrams/drawings

- Pay rate: $50-$55.ph + super

The ideal candidate:
- Be able to lift up to 20kg comfortably
- MUST be reliable
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Must have an Australian recognized Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining) or equivalent ticket
